UPStruction

This post is merely a rant.

I am fully and completely done with UPS. Despite the fact that every operator I have spoken to has been polite and kind, not one was able to help me. I work, like most people, therefore, i am not capable of being at home at any given time. So I requested my package to be delivered after 5pm, a request i felt was not complete out of reach to accommodate being the first attempted delivery was at 5:08 PM.

I was encouraged by the operator, and left work 1/2 hour early to assure i would be home for the delivery. To my surprise the UPS driver had already attempted to deliver the package at 2:10pm.

So as of this time, I am no longer sending or receiving packages from UPS. I request any correspondences, in the future be sent via USPS(yes i dread that too) or FedEx(A company that has, in the past, been more than happy to reschedule a delivery time for when i would be home)

If you do send me a package via UPS, I greatly apologize for your expense. It will be returned.

thus ends this rant.

This is truly unfortunate that companies that are awesome and acutally ask "What can Brown do for you?" are not able to accomadate you and your needs. I've always had good luck with FedEx, but UPS I've never had an issue with in the past so hopefully I won't in the future!

Update: I recently had a pachage that was forceably shipped via ups that was delivered and left with my Apartment Manager in the office. So surprise, UPS shows some intelligence.
