I have seen several commercials for John McCain and Others indicating they voted with George Bush 80-90% of the time. I am curious. I have read the constitution, and i don't recall ever seeing anywhere in it, the president getting to vote in either the house or the senate.
So are these ads touting the fact, that these people voted for a bill signed by the president? Again, going back to my rereading of the constitution, I don't see anywhere in it, that a bill can get to the president without a majority of both the House and the Senate first passing it. And when i look at the make up of both the House and the Senate, it appears they are both controlled by the Democrats.
So, unless these commercials are hoping the American people are idiots(or government school educated) I am not really sure what they are trying to say. Hey Congress voted with President Bush 100% of the time.(or at least, All but 4 times)
